Danish discovery could help cardiac patients
The Danish researchers have developed a component that could make live easier forpatients with heart failure.
The research team member Morten Ølgaard Jensen at the Engineering College of Aarhus states that the team has no ambitions to put the heart ring into production. The most likely eventuality is that a large, cash-rich foreign manufacturer, probably in the USA, purchases the discovery with a view to conducting human clinical studies and eventually bringing the product to market.
