Job description
As Sales Representative in the Mass Spectrometry Systems (MSS) Division for the Danish market you will be responsible for sale to the industry and related customers in the scientific field. You will be supported by service- and support specialists within the PSM group. There will be some travelling in Denmark, Iceland and occasionally in other parts of Europe and in US. You will refer to the Senior Manager Sales MSS.
• You will be responsible for existing customers and for developing new sales opportunities
• Specific focus on big revenue accounts on short and long terms
• Focus on the strategic development of key accounts
• You will be responsible for the market research and delivers information to allow Applied to develop strategies and products
• You will be responsible for arranging and implementation of seminars and exhibitions to support strategic goals
Qualifications
• You hold an academic degree in science and have experience from use of HPLC and related technologies
• You have solid sales skills combined with good business understanding
• You have experience working with Key Accounts within the Life Science Industry.
• You have strong communications skills
• You are able to analyse problems and find solutions and
• As a person you take initiative and see opportunities
• You communicate fluently in English as well as in Scandinavian languages
Your Background
Your business experience may be in the Lifescience Industry e.g. chemistry, biology or pharma combined with solid business understanding and a commercial background. Technical flair and understanding of complex application areas - particular knowledge of Applied Biosystems products are advantageous. You are used to collaborate in the technical field with customers, KOL and your colleagues in sales, service and support.
