The Clean-Trace Surface Testing Instruments
are a rapid solution to monitor biological contamination on surfaces in real time to help customers manage their cleaning and protect their samples. The system, manufactured by 3M and on display at Scanlab+Biotech Forum, can be used to measure surface adenosine tri-phospate (ATP) levels and thereby determine the level of cleanliness of the sampled surface. The swabs for sample acquisition are used together with the handheld 3M Clean-Trace NG Luminometer for a simple menu-driven operation and signal interpretation. The system is supported by a Clean-Trace Data Trending Software to allow the user to track the effectiveness of cleaning over time, to identify problem areas and to help drive the continuous improvement in sanitation programs. www.3m.com.
