Swedish pavilion with healthcare companies at Ukraine fair – “Ukraine is being rebuilt right now”

Private companies and public authorities are both needed in the reconstruction of Ukraine, said Minister for Health Care, Acko Ankarberg Johansson, in her opening speech in the Swedish pavilion at the ReBuild Ukraine fair.

Monday marked the start of the ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation fair in Warsaw. Companies and organisations from many countries, including France, the Czech Republic, Austria and the Netherlands, are attending the fair. Sweden is the only Nordic country with its own pavilion at the fair, with Life Science Sweden and Medtech Magazine participating as partners.

Minister for Health, Acko Ankarberg Johansson, was present at the opening ceremony and, in her opening speech, emphasised that the reconstruction of the war-torn country must begin now.

“Ukraine is currently being rebuilt, and you are all needed ‒ private companies, public authorities of every kind, as well as the private sector,” she said.

She also emphasised the value of collaboration between Swedish and Ukrainian stakeholders for both countries.

“Because we can learn so much from Ukraine. They are totally committed to providing the Ukrainian people with the best healthcare now and in the long term,” she said.

The Swedish delegation at ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation 2024 consists of the following companies and organisations

AddLife, Arjo, Business Sweden, Cambio Healthcare, Elekta, Elof Hansson International, Essity, Exportkreditnämnden, Fillauer, Forever Sustainable, Life Science Sweden, Medicover, Medtech Magazine, Ny Teknik, OneMed, Sigma Software Group, Ministry of Social Affairs (Swedish Government), National Board of Health and Welfare, Spinalis Foundation, Star for Life, Swecare Foundation.
